About ThailandMassage.org
WHAT THIS SITE IS
ThailandMassage.org is a guide to Thai massage for travellers and students: what each technique is, what a session costs in each city, which shops to visit and which schools are worth the fee.
The directory lists more than 200 shops in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Phuket, Hua Hin, Krabi and Koh Samui, with area, opening hours, phone and starting price wherever we could confirm them from the shop itself. Shops we could not confirm were left out, and listings with open questions are marked for a re-check.
How we write
STRAIGHT ANSWERS
We say plainly where the evidence for a technique is thin, where a popular history claim does not hold up, and which massage schools are government-accredited, which only issue their own certificate and which have closed.
Prices are given in Thai baht as the shops quote them. If you spot something out of date, tell us and we will fix it.
