Founded and run by Chaweewan Vitfan, who accumulated more than 2,000 hours of Thai massage training under Thailand's Ministry of Public Health framework and has taught for over thirteen years, this school takes a distinctive hybrid position: Ms Vitfan's 'Lanna Thai Massage' deliberately blends Bangkok royal-style technique with northern Lanna methods rather than teaching either in isolation. Since 2016 it has operated as Lanna Thai Traditional Medical School, and it is one of a small number of Chiang Mai schools that runs the full 800-hour Ministry of Public Health Thai Traditional Medicine curriculum - here in a 134-day diploma format - alongside a 330-hour Thai Traditional Medicine Assistant diploma.
